Martin Heater Start Up
Helpful information for starting your Martin heater
For new installations, don't forget...
- Always use the appropriate regulator.
- You may have to bleed the gas line - hold the pilot button down for about 30-45 seconds, when turned to the lighting position, to allow the propane to flow through the system.
- Click the ignitor every 5 seconds until the pilot is lit.
- When not in use for extended time you may need to repeat the process above.
- The first burn will have a slight smell; this is simply the manufacturing oil burning off and is completely normal.
